Mystery Raptor

I received this from one of my regular readers who says, "See attached pics, bird taken today Monday 21st April 2003 at Mid-Point WWT Any ideas ? Probably only a Buzzard !" I have received a couple of suggestions already but since the Mystery Wader prompted a lot of interest I thought you might like to talk about this through the Message Board.

Simon Mackie has sent me pictures of of immature/female Merlin and Peregrine to show posture for comparison.
